Built inside a print studio, for print studios.
PDFlow Studio started on the production floor of a working wide-format studio. Every tool exists because a file, an order or a client approval once cost us an afternoon. Today it runs that studio's prepress and order flow every day — and it is open to other studios.
What it does, in practice
Prepress that checks and fixes the file
- Preflight judged against the real print size, not a fixed 300 DPI
- RGB to CMYK with ICC profiles, gradients kept as vectors
- Rich black by the studio rule: text and thin lines K-only
- Bleed, crop marks, PDF/X-4 export and validation
- Finishing layers — CutContour, crease, perforation, drill holes — as real spot-colour layers
Orders that move between stations
- Orders and order lines read straight from SAP Business One
- Stations: intake, design, prepress, ready for print, production
- Every file matched to its order line, with size and material
- A permanent history of who did what, and when
Client approval without phone calls
- A proof sheet for the whole order in one click
- The client approves from their phone with a signed link
- An approved order moves to production on its own
Your files stay on your network
Studios that work from their own file server install a small program, PDFlow Intelligence, the brain of your studio. The portal sends it instructions; the files are read and fixed where they already are, and are not copied to our storage. A file you open in the portal travels to your browser over an encrypted (TLS) connection. On the way it passes through Cloudflare, our network provider; PDFlow does not store it.
See it on your own files
